The services that are open for all and activities at the service centres, e.g. gyms and restaurants, will remain closed at least until the end of August against the backdrop of the coronavirus situation, said the City of Helsinki in a press release.

The authority will inform about the service re-opening later.

The small groups at the service centres with an existing arrangement, however, will continue. The participants of these groups have been informed separately.

“Because of the corona situation, we can unfortunately not yet open the service centre activities. We hope that we can open the services as soon as possible,” said Department director Seija Meripaasi.

The website for Senior Info has collected information about services and different hobby opportunities during coronavirus time. Senior Info also provides advice and service guidance, the press release added.
