303 bankruptcies filed in February

A total of 303 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in February 2023, which is 109 more than in the corresponding period one year earlier, according to Statistics Finland.

The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,357, which is 556 staff-years more than in February 2022.

The number of bankruptcy proceedings in February was also higher than the number of previous month.

A total of 287 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in January 2023.

The number is 71 higher than in January 2022.
