3 killed in separate road mishaps in Kokkola, Laukaa, Jyväskylä

Three people were killed in separate road mishaps in Kokkola, Laukaa and Jyväskylä on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
An elderly man, who was driving a private car was killed when his car suddenly went outside of the Kajaanitie road and fell into a field in Kokkola, a municipality in Ostrobothnia region at about 3:10 p.m.
The man in his 70s died on the spot.
Police suspected that the accident took place due to sudden illness of the man.
Meanwhile, another accident occurred when a private car collided head-on with a truck laden with lumber on Kuopiontie road in Laukaa, a municipality in Central Finland.
The accident took place at about 12:30 p.m. in between Jyväskylä and Kallionsalmi areas.
The driver of the car, who was alone onboard, died in the accident on the spot.
The deceased was a man in his 40s.
Another young man was killed in a car accident on Saukkolahdentie road in Jyväskylä, a municipality in Centre Finland.
The accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. when the private car skidded off the road and first hit a roadside tree and later crashed into the wall of a warehouse.
The driver in his 30s, who was alone in the car sustained severe wounds and succumbed to his injuries immediately after the accident.
Responding to the alarms, police and rescue service people rushed to the spots of the accidents and recovered the bodies.
Police, however, did not divulge detail identities of the deceased.
Police and the Accident Investigation Board are investigating into the incidents to find out the reasons behind the accidents.
