Metro service disrupted in Helsinki after passenger injured

The metro service between Helsinki University and Ruoholahti stations remained suspended for about an hour after an accident at the central railway metro station on Wednesday morning, police and local media said.
The accident took place at about 10:00 a.m. when a metro train knocked down a man at the station and he sustained serious injuries.
Responding to an alarm rescue service people and police rushed to the spot and recovered the wounded person from the scene.
Later metro service restored at about 11:00 a.m.
Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the accident.
Police, however, did not suspect any crime link to the accident.
