Trams 3, 6, 7 and 9 resumed serving Hakaniemi across Pitkäsilta Bridge on Monday, said Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (Helsingin seudun liikenne – HSL).
Tram route 5 resumed operating and tram routes 4 and 10 started running more frequently.
Street work on Siltasaarenkatu has been completed and tram services across Pitkäsilta Bridge to Hakaniemi resumed.
Temporary routes 6B, 7B, 9B and 6T, 7T and 9T were withdrawn as trams 3, 6, 7, 9 and 9N resumed their normal routes.
Tram 5 resumed operation between Katajanokka Terminal and Central Railway Station. The timetables for tram routes 1, 1T, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 8T, 9, and 10 were changed.
The trams had been diverted since March due to street work on Siltasaarenkatu.
The work is part of the construction of the Kruunusillat tramway, which will connect Laajasalo, Korkeasaari, and Kalasatama to Hakaniemi in 2027.
In recent years, tram services have been affected by various construction-related diversions.
