Finland probes into turbulent incident on Norwegian Air flight

The Finnish Safety Investigation Authority (Otkes) has started an investigation into a serious incident took place on a Helsinki bound flight of Norwegian airlines on August 11, said Otkes in a press release on Thursday.
Two cabin crew members of the airlines were injured after the aircraft flew into turbulent airflow on the flight departed from Rhodes, Greece.
Senior safety investigator Juho Posio has been appointed as the Head of the Investigation Team, with airline transport pilot and flight instructor Juha-Pekka Keidasto, test pilot Antti Rautio as well as purser (retired) Sanna Winberg as its members.
Chief Air Safety Investigator Janne Kotiranta will serve as the Investigator-in-Charge.
The authority, however, did not disclose detail about the incident.
Local media, quoting investigator Kotiranta said that the incident occurred on a Boeing 737 MAX 8 jet operated by Norwegian airlines over the Gulf of Finland.
