Eurowings to run Düsseldorf- Kajaani flight in next winter

German low-cost carrier Eurowings will start direct scheduled flights from Düsseldorf, Germany, to Kajaani, Finland next winter, said country´s airports operator Finavia in a press release on Tuesday.

Eurowings will fly the route once a week on Saturdays from 18 January to 22 March 2025.

The route will be flown with 150-seat Airbus A319 aircraft.

“The Eurowings route from Central Europe to Kajaani is a much desired addition to our airports’ route network. Direct international routes are very important for the accessibility of both the region and Finland as a whole,” said Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for route development.

This winter, Eurowings, a member of the Lufthansa Group, has been flying a total of six direct routes from Germany to Finland.
