Finnish airports see higher passengers in Mar but lower than 2019

A total of 1,080,033 passengers flew through Finnish airports in March 2022 and the number of passengers was about 30 per cent higher than in the first two months of the year, according to Statistics Finland.
This was a multiple number compared to last year, but still only nearly one-half of the number of passengers in March 2019.
The monthly number of passengers exceeded one million for the second time during the coronavirus pandemic.
The volume of air freight and mail transport decreased considerably.
