Man killed snowmobile accident at Enontekijö

An elderly man was killed in a snowmobile accident at Peltovuoma area under Enontekijö municipality in Lapland on Saturday evening.
Police said that the accident took place when a 60-year-old man was driving his snowmobile on a river at the area.
The snow on the river was melting at that time, which might be the reason for the accident.
Police recovered the body of the deceased near the snowmobile from the spot.
The Police, however, did not divulge detail about the deceased and investigating into the accident to find out further detail about the reason and the out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
