Käärijä takes Finland to Eurovision grand final

Finnish singer Käärijä reached to the grand final of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest scheduled to be held in Liverpool, United Kingdom on Saturday.

The first semi-final of the completion was held late Tuesday night where Käärijä won with the song 'Cha Cha Cha' and reached to the grand final along with nine other finalists.

Other winners in the first semi-final were Let 3 of Croatia with the song Mama ŠČ, Pasha Parfeni of Moldova with the song of Soarele şi Luna, Remo Forrer of Switzerland with the song Watergun, Vesna of Czechia with the song My Sister's Crown, Noa Kirel of Israel with the song Unicorn, Mimicat of Portugal with the song Ai Coração, Loreen of Sweden with the song Tattoo, Luke Black of Serbia with the song Samo Mi Se Spava and Alessandra of Norway with the song Queen of Kings.

The second semi-final will be held on Thursday from where 10 more will be qualified to the grand final.

The winners in the first and second semi-finals as well as the Big Five - France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom -plus reigning champions Ukraine to contest in the final on Saturday night.

Käärijä won in the national level final in late February and qualified to the final round of the Eurovision Song Contest.
