7 killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon, Israeli soldier killed

At least seven people were killed and seven others wounded in Israeli strikes across southern Lebanon on Monday, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported, said Xinhua.
Two people were killed and five others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the village of Ebba in southern Lebanon. In the Bint Jbeil district, two people were killed after an Israeli drone strike targeted their vehicle in the town of Haris, and a third was killed after an Israeli drone launched a guided missile strike on the town of Yater.
In an Israeli drone strike on the Nabatieh district, Yahya Ali Kobeissi, a bill collector at the Zebdine municipality, and Hussein Ahmad Kobeissi were killed while distributing bread to residents, the NNA reported.
Two paramedics with the Islamic Health Organization's civil defense team were wounded in an Israeli airstrike as they were conducting relief work.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army issued urgent evacuation warnings to residents of multiple towns and villages in southern and eastern Lebanon, sparking a fresh wave of displacement, with hundreds of families fleeing to nearby safer areas.
Separately, the Hezbollah said in statements that it attacked Israeli forces in several villages of southern Lebanon on Monday, using explosive drones and a rocket barrage.
Also on Monday, a shipment of humanitarian and medical aid, provided by the EU and the French government, arrived at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.
According to data released Monday by the Lebanese Health Ministry, the cumulative toll from Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 2,869 deaths and 8,730 injuries.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military said Monday that a reservist was killed by a Hezbollah explosive drone attack near the Lebanon border on Sunday, bringing to 18 the number of Israeli soldiers killed since the current round of fighting with Hezbollah began on March 2.
The soldier was identified as Command Sergeant Major Alexander Glovanyov, 47, a heavy transport vehicle driver in the 6924th Transport Battalion.
According to official Israeli figures, four Israeli civilians have also been killed in Hezbollah attacks since March 2.
The Israeli military issued an evacuation warning on Saturday, urging residents of nine villages and towns in southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa to flee and stay at least 1,000 meters away from their homes, citing imminent strikes.
Despite a fragile ceasefire, Israel escalated its bombardment of Beirut's southern suburbs on Thursday, saying it was targeting Hezbollah sites.
