At least seven Palestinians died in Israeli fire across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, including one who died from wounds sustained on Friday, according to Palestinian medical and local sources, reported Xinhua.

In the latest incident, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a gathering of Palestinians west of Gaza City, causing a massive explosion, local sources said.

The area was crowded with pedestrians due to the presence of restaurants, shops, institutions, and tents sheltering displaced people, the sources said.

Al-Shifa Medical Complex said in a brief statement that it had received the bodies of four people killed in the strike and six others wounded, some of them moderately or seriously wounded.

In a separate incident, 44-year-old Mohammed Walid al-Nakhala was killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a gathering of Palestinians near a mosque northeast of Gaza City, medical sources said.

Medical sources also reported that eight-year-old Shahd Abdul-Razzaq al-Najjar was killed when an Israeli drone fired at her family's tent west of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, the southern Gaza Strip, said that Mousa Abu Dan had died of wounds sustained in Israeli shelling on Friday in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.

The Israeli military has not commented on the incidents.

Since a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel took effect in October 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,481 people, bringing the total death toll since Oct. 7, 2023, to 74,370, according to Gaza-based health authorities on Saturday.
