4 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

Four Palestinians were killed on Wednesday in two separate Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, according to Palestinian sources, reported Xinhua.
One airstrike on a tent sheltering displaced people in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, killed three, Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal and local eyewitnesses said.
The other airstrike targeting a civilian vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area of southern Gaza's Khan Younis killed one and injured several others, according to the Civil Defense.
The Israeli military has not commented on the incidents.
Meanwhile, Gaza-based health authorities said hospitals in the enclave received four bodies and 16 wounded in the past 24 hours.
The death toll since a ceasefire came into effect on Oct. 10 has reached 837, with 2,381 injured, the authorities said. The total death toll has risen to 72,619, with 172,484 injured, since the outbreak of the war on Oct. 7, 2023.
