Ten Palestinians, including seven policemen affiliated with the Hamas-run interior authorities in Gaza, were killed in Israeli strikes across the enclave on Friday, Palestinian sources said, reported Xinhua.
Local sources and eyewitnesses said Israeli artillery shelled multiple residential houses near Kamal Adwan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
At least three people, including children, were killed and several others injured in the attack, Palestinian medical sources said.
Meanwhile, the authorities said in a statement that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle belonging to the Palestinian police in the "Bir 19" area in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, causing casualties and injuries.
Medical sources at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis told Xinhua that five bodies and a number of injured people were brought to the facility following the strike.
Earlier in the day, the authorities said that two police officers were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a police patrol in Gaza City. Two others were seriously injured.
There was no immediate comment from Israel on the incidents.
The developments come amid ongoing tensions and reported violations of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel since Oct. 10, 2025.
According to Gaza health authorities, 791 Palestinians have been killed and 2,235 others injured since the ceasefire agreement took effect.
