Snowfall worsens driving conditions

Plenty of snowfall is forecast near the eastern border on Friday, according to the Met Office.
According to the forecast, the snowfall area is shifting from Kainuu and Koillismaa regions across Lapland.
Driving conditions are set to become hazardous in North Karelia, Kainuu, North Ostrobothnia, and later in Lapland.
According to the national broadcaster Yle, the North Karelia region received up to 20 metres of snow overnight.
