Tunisian embassy in Helsinki highlights democratic reform, tourism of the country

The Tunisian Embassy in Helsinki on Wednesday the focused the security and political situation in Tunisia highlighted the important role of democratic reforms in fostering lasting stability in the country.

The Embassy focused the situation at a media briefing held at the embassy premises where Finnish and African journalists, media creators, and civil society activists took part.

The event also featured a presentation entitled “Tunisia: An Emerging Hub of Exports, Investment and Culture,” which emphasized the excellence of Tunisian export products—particularly its highly regarded olive oil—as well as the country’s attractive and dynamic investment climate and its rich cultural diversity.

Discussions also focused on promoting Tunisia as a tourist destination. Participants who had previously visited the country shared their experiences and testimonies, expressing their appreciation for its unique offerings and the renowned hospitality of the Tunisian people.
