Sixty-two Finnish nationals are serving in the Israeli military service, according to a report published by Swedish national broadcaster SVT on Saturday.

The report said that a total of 346 Nordic citizens including Finns are registered with the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) while several thousands of people from different countries, who are holding dual or more citizenship are working in the IDF.

Out of the Nordic citizens, who are working in IDF, 150 are Swedish, 99 are Denish and 35 are Norwegians, said the report.

The Swedish broadcaster gathered the information interviewing a soldier from Scandinavian country, who also holds Israeli citizenship and fought in Gaza.

The soldier told STV to publish his identity as David.
