Man killed in Kuopio residence, several held

A man was allegedly killed inside a private house in Kuopio, a municipality under North Savo region on Saturday, police said in a press release on Sunday.

The murder took place at Levänen area in the morning.

Police conducted extensive search at the locality and arrested several people in connection with the incident.

Police, however, did not disclose details about the incident and the identities of the deceased and the suspects at the preliminary stage of the investigation.

Police are investigating into the case as murder.
