Finland condoles at quake victims in Colombia

Finland on Tuesday expressed profound shock at the deaths of people in the earthquake in Colombia.

Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen in a post on its social media platform X also expressed empathy to the family members, relatives of the victims.

“Deepest condolences to the people of Colombia following the tragic earthquake. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and all those affected. We stand with you in solidarity during this difficult time,” Valtonen wrote in the post.

At least 169 people were killed and 570 others injured in a magnitude-7.4 earthquake that struck western Colombia on Monday.
