Orpo re-elected Kokoomus Chair

Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has been re-elected the chair of the Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party-NCP) for another two-year term on Saturday, said the party in a press release.

The party delegates elected him unopposed at the council of the party being held in Jyväskylä.

Orpo expressed his gratitude to the party leaders and activists for re-electing him as the Chairperson and vowed the commitment to work his best to bring good results for the party in the next parliamentary elections scheduled for early next year.

Orpo has been leading the Kokoomus since 2016.

The party will elect three Vice-Chairpersons on Sunday, on the concluding day of the three-day council.
