1 killed in Espoo, suspect held

One person was killed inside a private house in Espoo late Friday night, police said in a press release on Saturday.

The murder took place at about 11:00 p.m. at Rastaspuisto area in the city.

Responding to an alarm, police and rescue service people rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Police also arrested one person as the suspect of the murder from the house.

Police, however, did not disclose details about the murder but said that they found marks of several injuries at different parts of the body of the victim.

Police also did not divulge the identities of the deceased and suspect and their relation at the preliminary stage of the investigation.

Police are investigating into the case as murder.
