Woman killed in Kokkola, suspect held

A young woman was killed in a private house in Kokkola, a municipality in Central Ostrobothnia region on Thursday, police said in a press release on Friday.
Police said that the incident took place at Pensarinmäki area and they recovered the body from the apartment responding to an alarm from outsiders.
Police, however, did not disclose the identity of the deceased and did not divulge detail about the incident.
They arrested one person as suspect of the murder but did not disclose the identity of the detainee at the preliminary stage of the investigation.
The suspect is a man of 30 years old.
Police are investigating into the case as murder.
