President Alexander Stubb and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo on Sunday condemned the combined attack of dozens of ballistic missiles and hundreds of drones from Iran across Israel early on Sunday.

The Finnish leaders also underscored the importance to de-escalate and urged all parties to show restraint.

“Finland strongly condemns Iran’s reckless attack on Israel. It is now of utmost importance to de-escalate. Finland calls on all parties to show restraint,” Stubb wrote in a post on his social media platform X on Sunday morning.
