House burnt into ashes in Pori

A detached house was burnt into ashes in a fire at Koivistonpuistiko area in Pori, municipality in Satakunta region late Friday night, said police in a press release early Saturday.

The fire broke out at about 8:00 pm and engulfed the house immediately.

Rescue service personnel and police rushed to the spot responding to a call tried to douse the fire to bring the situation under control.

According to the preliminary estimate, the house was destroyed completely in the fire.

No human casualty, however, was reported as the residents of the house were not inside during the fire.

The Rescue services people, police and social authority contacted with the residents and took measures to arrange temporary accommodation for them.

The origin of the fire could not be known immediately but Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the fire.
