Finland condoles at Istanbul tragedy victims

Prime Minister Sanna Marin and Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto on Sunday expressed condolence at the deaths of people in an explosion in Turkey´s capital Istanbul.
The Finnish leaders in separate twitter posts also expressed empathy to the braved family members of the victims.
“Saddened by loss of human lives and people injured in an explosion in Istanbul today (Sunday). Deepest condolences to families and loved ones,” the Premier wrote in her twitter post in the evening.
“Deeply saddened to hear news of deadly explosion in Istanbul, Türkiye, today. My thoughts are with the victims and the families,” the Ministry for Foreign Affairs wrote in the twitter post, quoting Haavisto as saying.
At least six people were killed and 81 other injured in an explosion in a busy area of central Istanbul, according to Turkish authorities.
The blast took place at about 16:20 pm local time on a shopping street in the Taksim Square area.
