Gunshots fired at apartment building in Tuusula, 10 held

Police arrested 10 people after several rounds of gunshots fired at an apartment building at Kellokoski in Tuusula, a municipality under Uusimaa region on Sunday morning.

Police said that the incident took place at about 8:00 am when the miscreants fired gunshots outside and inside the building at the Rajalinna industrial area in the locality.

Responding to alarms from eyewitnesses and outsiders, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control at about 9:30 am.

Police said that several round out gunshots were fired in the yard, inside the building and the adjacent area during the incident.

Police cordoned the area and arrested all the ten people found at scene and investigating into the incident to confirm the involvement of the detainees.

The police also conducted a technical probe into the incident at the area on Sunday.

One person was injured in the incident, but he did not sustain bullet wound, said police.

The wounded person was admitted to the hospital and released later after first aid and he was also arrested.

The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder and further probe is going on to find out detail about incident.
