President to visit Estonia on Oct 4

President Sauli Niinistö will make an official visit to Estonia on October 4 and will meet with his Estonia counterpart Alar Karis, said the President Office in a press release on Wednesday.

The Presidents’ discussion topics on this working visit will include bilateral relations between the neighbouring countries, the countries’ forthcoming NATO alliance and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Niinistö will also meet Kaja Kallas, Prime Minister of Estonia, and visit Tapa Army Base together with President Karis.

The previous meeting between Niinistö and Karis took place in Finland in May 2022.
