President, first lady to attend UK Queen´s funeral

President Sauli Niinistö and first lady Jenni Haukio will attend the state funeral of Queen of United Kingdom Elisabeth II, said the President Office in a press release on Monday.
The funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey in London on 19 September.
On the previous day, 18 September, the presidential couple will attend a reception hosted by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.
Queen Elizabeth II, Britain's longest-reigning monarch in history, has died on 8 September.
King Charles III was formally proclaimed Britain's new monarch at a meeting of the Accession Council at St James's Palace on Saturday.
