NBI probes into hacking of Parliament's website

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is investigating into the denial of service attack on Parliament's website as interference of a computer system, said an official press release on Wednesday.

The website was affected by the DoS attack on Tuesday. It is suspected that the attack was carried out from several dozen IP addresses located abroad.

The NBI will provide necessary information later as the criminal investigation progresses.

The website of the Finnish parliament remained inaccessible on Tuesday from 2:30 pm to 10:00 p.m. following the attack.

A Russian hacker group NoName057(16) on its Telegram channel claimed the responsibility for the attack resulting down the website, reported national broadcaster Yle.
