Armed robbery occurred at Sastamala shop

Bandits took away valuables and cash from a shop at gunpoint at Varila area in Sastamala under Pirkanmaa region on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said that two alleged robbers stormed into the shop at Aarnontie at about 3:00 pm and one of them wearing red-orange hoodie and blue pant snatched cash from the cashier at gunpoint.

Another robber wearing dark blue hoodie and dark pant looted some products from the shop and both of them left the scene immediately.

Police said that the direction of fleeing away could not be known but they might have managed to escape by their vehicle to the direction to Prisma.

The identity of the bandits could not be known and police requested information from the eye accounts in this regard.

Police are investigating into the case as aggravated robbery.
