Motorcyclist killed in road mishap in Pälkäne

One person was killed in a road accident at Pälkäne, a municipality under Pirkanmaa region on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said that the accident took place at about 1:00 pm when a motorcycle collided with a private car at Aitoontie area.

Driver of the motorcycle was killed on the spot in the accident.

The Police, however, did not divulge details about the deceased and the reason behind the accident at the initial stage of the investigation.

The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the incident to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
