2 youths killed in road mishap in Turku

Two teenage boy and girl were killed in a road accident at Aerotie area in Turku late Friday night, police said in a press release on Saturday.
Police said the accident took place at about 10:50 pm when a car with six people onboard coming from airport direction collided head on with a trailer coming from opposite direction after the 18 years old driver of the car lost control.
A 17 years old girl sitting in a back seat and another 17 years boy who was sitting in the trunk of the car were killed in the accident.
Responding to an alarm from a passenger of the car, police and rescue service people rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the deceased.
The detail identities of the victims and the reason behind the accident, however, could not be known immediately.
The police and the Accident Investigation Board are investigating into the case.
