US soldiers join Utti Jaeger Regiment exercise

The Utti Jaeger Regiment will arrange a bilateral exercise with the USA to be held in Finland from 13 May to 5 June, said Finnish Defence Forces in a press release.
The objective of the exercise is to develop the Finnish special operations forces’ capability as well as to improve interoperability while cooperating with international partners.
The exercise will be participated by circa 20 soldiers from the USA.
The main part of the US training audience detachment will arrive by C-130 transport aircraft.
The US soldiers will participate in exercise activity in exercise areas in the vicinity of the Utti Jaeger Regiment and in southern Finland.
The exercise is part of the Finnish Defence Forces’ international training and exercise activities for 2022.
