Prime Minister Sanna Marin will visit Germany on Tuesday at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, said a government press release on Friday.

Marin will attend a meeting at the castle retreat of Schloss Meseberg near Berlin.

Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson will also attend the event, which is organised by the Federal Government of Germany.

Discussions at the meeting will focus on the changed security situation in Europe.

Finland and Sweden have been working together on European security issue and possible NATO membership application since Russia's attack on Ukraine.
