Finland, UK discuss Ukraine, security issues

Finnish ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Jukka Siukosaari on Tuesday held a meeting with Minister of State of the United Kingdom for Europe and North America James Cleverly in London and discussed various issues including Ukraine and changes in the security environment.

They also focused on bilateral relations including security and defence, according to the twitter posts of Siukosaari and Cleverly.

“ Thanks Minister James Cleverly for the thorough and useful lunch discussions on Great Britain and Finland bilateral relations and the war in Ukraine,” Siukosaari wrote in his twitter after the meeting.

“Great meeting Finnish Ambassador JSiukosaari today to discuss security policy and hear about the Finnish government’s report on changes in the security environment. Security and defence will remain an important part of our close relationship,” Cleverly wrote in his twitter.
