1 killed in road mishap in Rauma

One person was killed in a road accident at Valtatie area in Rauma on Monday morning.
Police said that the accident took place at about 9:30 am when a private car collided head on with a tanker near Unaja junction.
The driver of the car, a 51 years man died on the spot in the accident.
The Police, however, did not divulge detail about the deceased and the reason behind the accident but said that the driving condition of the road at the time of accident was good.
The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the incident to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Vehicular movement on the road was disrupted and diverted to other ways for about two hours.
