1 killed in road mishap in Sotkamo

One person was killed and another injured in a road accident at Sotkamo in Kainuu region on Saturday morning.
Police said that the accident took place when a private car collided with a heavy vehicle at Kuhmontie near the Ontojoki River.
The Police did not divulge detail about the deceased and the reason behind the accident.
The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the incident to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Vehicular movement on the road was disrupted due to the accident, said police.
