Finland to increase soldiers in EU crisis training mission in Mali

The President and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy on Thursday agreed that Finland would increase its participation in the EU military crisis management training mission in Mali to some 20 soldiers in 2021 and to some 55 soldiers in 2022.

The committee at a meeting discussed crisis management operations, Defence Report and situation in Afghanistan, said an official press release.

The meeting also agreed that Finland would prepare to participate in the EU military crisis management training mission in Mozambique.
