Cyclist killed in Ähtäri road mishap

One person was killed in a road accident at Ähtäri in South Ostrobothnia region on Friday evening, said the police in a press release on Saturday.
The accident took place at about 6:00 pm when a private car knocked down a bicycle at the intersection of Töysäntie and Virtaintie.
The bicycle rider died on the spot in the accident.
The Police did not divulge detail about the deceased.
The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the incident to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
