1 killed in domestic violence in Rauma

One person was killed in a domestic violence at Rauma in Satakunta region late Saturday night, police said on Sunday.

The incident took place just before the mid night in a detached house where the victim was killed by another resident of the house.

Responding to a call members of the law enforcing agency rushed to the spot and found that one person was killed, Southwestern Finland Police said, adding that both the victim and the murder suspect were the residents of the same house.

The police after preliminary investigation termed the incident as domestic violence.

They did not divulge anything more about the incident or the victim and the suspect at this stage of the investigation.
