Niinistö meets Trump in White House on Oct 2

President Sauli Niinistö will make an official visit to the United States and will meet his US counterpart Donald Trump in Washington DC on October 2, said a press release of the Finnish president’s office on Wednesday.
The two presidents at the meeting scheduled to be held in the White House will discuss opportunities to increase cooperation, including European and Arctic security, between Finland and the United States.
They will also discuss ways to advance shared interests in commercial and technological cooperation.
Following their discussions and working lunch, the presidents will hold a joint press conference.
The meeting will take place on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Finland and the United States.
