The first weeks of Prime Minister Antti Rinne’s government have been contentious, following disagreements between the ruling coalition partners Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party of Finland) and Vihreä liitto (Green League), reported the national broadcaster Yle.
The two parties have clashed on issues pertaining to, for instance, logging, timetable for the dismantling of the activation model, and the treatment of farm animals.
The prime minister, however, on Monday allayed those fears and said the government’s atmosphere from the inside looks good.
According to Rinne, the differing views of the Centre Party and the Greens had already been discussed in the ‘government formation’ talks.
Rinne affirmed that the government will begin to look outwardly uniform, too, as well as it gets to speed.
