The national social insurance institution Kela on Tuesday warned that tricksters have been sending people phishing messages using its name.
In a bulletin Kela said the messages have been sent by both email and in text format this summer.
The messages are aimed at tricking people into disclosing their personal information and bank codes.
Kela pointed out that sensitive data such as personal identification number should never been sent using email.
