Bus overturns on German motorway injuring 35

A bus accident near the German city of Magdeburg, in which the vehicle flipped, injured 35 people, the motorway authorities reported on Friday, reported dpa.
Six people were seriously injured when the coach carrying 54 passengers left the carriageway on the A2 motorway near Magdeburg, to the south-east of Berlin, and overturned, the police reported.
The passengers are from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Belgium, among other countries, according to information obtained by dpa.
The youngest passenger is about 10 and the oldest in their sixties, a police spokesperson said.
The bus was on its way from Warsaw to Belgium with two drivers, the vice-president of the Sindbad travel company, Bogdan Kurys, told the Polish news agency PAP.
The bus had skidded off the motorway to the right between the Börde Nord service area and the Bornstedt junction and finally came to rest on its roof. Cranes, among other equipment, were used to clear the wreckage.
