Jukka Luoma chosen as Aalto University Teacher of the Year

The Prodeko Guild, an organisation of students of industrial engineering under the auspices of Aalto University Student Union, selected Professor Jukka Luoma as the Teacher of the Year 2020, said the university in a press release on Monday.

Jukka is an expert in data analytics and quantitative methods in strategic management and decision making. His teaching focuses on the use of data in business development and strategic management.

The students said Jukka’s in his teaching gives “exceptional attention to the comprehensibility, meaningfulness, interest, and timeliness of what is being taught.” “On top of that, I didn’t even know that teaching could be like that,” said a student leader.

The organisation congratulated Jukka on this recognition.
