Prices of old dwellings in Finland drop by 3.4% in July

The prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 3.4 per cent year-on-year in the whole country in July 2026, according to Statistics Finland.

Compared with the previous month, prices decreased by 0.3 per cent. Prices declined in all the large towns, most in Turku (6.4%) and in Vantaa (6.2%).

Prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 3.9 per cent in the six largest towns and by 2.5 per cent outside large towns in July 2026 compared with one year ago.

In Greater Helsinki, prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 3.6 per cent from one year ago and 1.0 per cent from the previous month.

In the whole country, prices of dwellings in blocks of flats decreased by 4.4 per cent and prices of dwellings in terraced houses by 1.0 per cent compared with one year ago.

In July, 9.5 per cent less sales of old dwellings in blocks of flats and terraced houses were made through real estate agents than one year earlier.
