Service industries see 3.7% turnover growth in November

Working day adjusted turnover in service industries grew by 3.7 per cent in November 2025 from November 2024, according to Statistics Finland.

Service output or volume, from which the impact of prices has been eliminated, grew by 2.7 per cent over the same period.

In October 2025, turnover grew of 3.8 per cent and volume correspondingly rose by 2.8 per cent.

In November 2025, growth in service industries was strongest in information and communication, where working day adjusted turnover and volume went up by 7.0 per cent from November 2024.

Working day adjusted turnover in professional, scientific and technical activities increased by 4.8 per cent and volume by 2.3 per cent. Working day adjusted turnover in accommodation and food service activities grew by 4.6 per cent and volume by 2.6 per cent from November 2024.

Turnover in real estate activities grew by 3.4 per cent and volume by 2.8 per cent in November 2025. Working day adjusted turnover in other service activities went up by 2.6 per cent from November 2024.

Turnover in administrative and support service activities grew by 2.4 per cent, while the volume of the industry went up by 1.1 per cent over the corresponding period.

Turnover adjusted for working days in arts, entertainment and recreation rose by 1.5 per cent from November 2024. Working day adjusted turnover in transportation and storage fell by 0.4 per cent and volume by 1.7 per cent in November 2025.

Seasonally adjusted turnover in service industries rose by 0.2 per cent in November 2025 compared to October.

Service output or volume, from which the impact of prices has been eliminated, rose by 0.1 per cent over the same period.

In October 2025, turnover grew by 0.1 per cent and volume fell by 0.1 per cent from September.
