AI techs use by enterprises rises in Finland

As many as 38 per cent of enterprises used Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in spring 2025, according to Statistics Finland.
The share of enterprises using AI technologies grew by 14 percentage points from last year.
AI technologies were most commonly used in information and communication activities, in 80 per cent of the enterprises.
Altogether 68 per cent of enterprises with at least 100 employees used AI technologies.
Seventy-nine per cent of enterprises used cloud services in spring 2025.
Fifty-eight per cent of enterprises used the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, 56 per cent used the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and 43 per cent used software for managing Business Intelligence (BI).
Data analytics was performed in 45 per cent of enterprises. Data analytics was performed by own personnel in 36 per cent of enterprises and by another enterprise or organisation in 23 per cent of enterprises.
A total of 98 per cent of enterprises had web pages and 88 per cent used social media.
Twenty-eight per cent of enterprises had web sales in 2024.
