Prices of old single dwelling houses fall by 9.5% in Q3

Prices of old single dwelling houses decreased in the whole country by 9.5 per cent year-on-year and by 6.1 per cent from the previous quarter in July to September 2025, according to Statistics Finland.
The transactions of old single dwelling houses increased by 2.6 per cent in the third quarter of this year compared to the stipulated period of the previous year.
Prices decreased by 9.8 per cent in large towns and by 9.3 per cent outside large towns in July to September 2025 compared with one year ago.
Prices of single-dwelling house plots decreased by 10.7 per cent in the whole country compared with a year ago.
Transactions decreased in municipalities with 60,000-100,000 inhabitants, where the number of transactions was seven per cent less compared to one year earlier.
The number of transactions increased most in municipalities with 20,000-59,999 inhabitants (9.3%).
About 3.9 per cent more transactions of single-dwelling house plots were made than in the corresponding period one year earlier.
Prices of new single-dwelling houses remained unchanged from a year ago but increased by 0.3 per cent from the previous quarter.
