Turnover in construction grows by 3.8% in September

The working day adjusted turnover of construction enterprises increased by 3.8 per cent in September 2025 compared to the previous year, according to Statistics Finland.

The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, increased by 8.2 per cent.

Working day adjusted turnover in building construction grew by 3.9 per cent and sales volume grew by 6.4 per cent in September 2025 compared to one year before.

In turn, turnover in civil engineering decreased by 2.7 per cent and sales volume decreased by 4.4 per cent from the previous year.

Turnover in specialised construction activities went up by 7.1 per cent and sales volume by 12.9 per cent from one year earlier.

Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction increased by 1.2 per cent in September 2025 compared to August. Correspondingly, seasonally adjusted sales volume grew by 1.4 per cent from August.
